Written pattern (13 September 2026)

- Both papers are objective (OMR); a wrong answer costs one-third of that question’s marks.
- Mathematics and GAT Part B are bilingual. No calculator or log table.
- SSB / interview is a further 900 marks.
Paper I — Mathematics (300)
- Algebra: sets, complex numbers, binary, progressions, quadratics, permutations, binomial, logarithms.
- Matrices and determinants, Cramer / matrix method.
- Trigonometry, heights and distances, triangles.
- 2-D and 3-D geometry, conics, plane, line, sphere.
- Differential and integral calculus, differential equations.
- Vector algebra.
- Statistics and probability (including Bayes and the binomial).
Paper II — General Ability Test (600)
- Part A English (200): grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, cohesion.
- Part B GK (400) — about 25% physics, 15% chemistry, 10% general science, 20% history, 20% geography, 10% current events.
Our practice follows two shifts: Maths 40×2.5=100 (150 min), a 30-min break or start GAT now, then GAT 50×4=200 (150 min), −1/3 — not a copy of the 900-mark booklet.
