The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj, has published UPESSC PRT Notification 2026 on upessc.up.gov.in (letter 2591/27(2026), 15 September 2026). Advertisement 05/2026 covers 12,405 Assistant Teacher posts: 897 affiliated primary (aided secondary schools under Secondary Education) and 11,508 Urban Assistant Teacher under Basic Education. One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory. Online registration / apply opens on 16 September 2026; form and fee close on 15 October 2026; correction lasts till 19 October 2026. Exam pattern

How to apply

1. Open upessc.up.gov.in and finish OTR if you do not already have it.

2. Read the 05/2026 detailed PDF for the post (affiliated primary vs Urban).

3. From 16.09.2026 start the online form for Advt 05/2026.

4. Pay the fee shown on the portal on or before 15.10.2026.

5. Use the correction window till 19.10.2026 if the portal allows a change.

6. Keep the registration number; admit card will be a later notice.

Application fee

Category-wise fee is in the detailed advertisement / payment screen. Confirm the amount on the official form; do not pay on any third-party “UP Super TET / PRT” page.

Salary

Pay scale and allowances are as sanctioned for the two cadres in the detailed PDF / appointment rules. Treat social-media figures as unofficial until you read that file.
