The SSF UR figure of 150 includes 38 EWS, 6 SC, 1 ST and 75 OBC candidates shortlisted at the UR standard. State and UT cut-offs for female candidates are in Annexure-I of the write-up. State and UT cut-offs for male candidates in forces other than SSF are in Annexure-II. Those annexures also record the date of birth of the last shortlisted candidate. Area columns in the annexures follow the general area, the border area, and the naxal or militancy affected area.

How the list was prepared

Candidates from naxal or militancy affected areas were first considered against those vacancies, then against general-area vacancies. Candidates from border areas were first considered against border vacancies, then against general-area vacancies. A candidate from both kinds of area was considered first for the naxal or militancy vacancy, then the border vacancy, then the general area.

Where reserved-category candidates moved from one State or UT to another, the category follows the option in the application. 13,231 such candidates were processed as UR. Of them, 246 are in the PET/PST shortlist, in List-I or List-II. Their age-relaxation codes were changed to match.

A tie in the computer based examination, including NCC bonus marks, is broken in this order: marks in Part A (General Intelligence and Reasoning), marks in Part B (General Knowledge and General Awareness), marks in Part C (Elementary Mathematics), older date of birth, then alphabetical order of names.

List-III withholds the result of 60 candidates. The result of 3 further candidates is withheld because of court cases. List-IV covers 88 candidates debarred by the Commission; their result was not processed. Where a vacancy exists and no candidate was available at this stage, the minimum qualifying marks of that category are the cut-off for the later stage.

Final answer keys were prepared after the Commission examined challenges to the tentative keys. Marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates, the final keys, and the question papers with response sheets will be placed on ssc.gov.in later. A candidate will open them with the registered ID and password.
