This policy explains what information rojgarsuchna.in collects, why we collect it, who else can see it, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only.

The short version: you can read every page on this site without giving us anything. We ask for personal information in exactly one place — the contact form — and we use it only to reply to you.

1. Who we are

Rojgar Suchna is an independent publisher of Indian government job and examination information, operating the website rojgarsuchna.in. For anything relating to your data, write to us at contact@rojgarsuchna.in.

2. Information you give us

Contact form and email

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic and message you type in. Along with them we record the page you sent the message from, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and the time — these help us spot automated spam and understand which article a correction refers to.

We use this only to read and answer your message. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not use your address for marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone. Messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on a correction, then deleted.

The same applies if you email us directly.

3. Information collected automatically

Server logs

Like every website, our server records each request: the IP address, the URL requested, the date and time, the referring page and the browser user-agent. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting — blocking abusive traffic, diagnosing errors — and are kept for a short period before rotation.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and on what kind of device, so we can prioritise what to publish and make the site faster. Analytics tells us things like "this result page was read 40,000 times, mostly on Android phones". It does not tell us who you are, and we never try to identify an individual reader from it.

Google processes this data on our behalf and may set cookies to do so. See Google's Privacy Policy, and our Cookies Policy for how to refuse these cookies.

Preferences stored in your browser

When you switch to dark mode or change the text size, we save that choice in your browser's own local storage so the site looks the same on your next visit. This never leaves your device and is not sent to our server. Clearing your browser data removes it.

4. Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Advertisements may be served by Google, including through Google AdSense, and by other advertising partners.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, and out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes the ads you see less specific to you.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies ourselves, and third parties set more. Each one, what it does and how long it lasts is listed in our Cookies Policy, along with instructions for controlling them in every major browser.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Our hosting and email providers, which necessarily process the data required to serve the site and deliver our replies.
• Google, for the analytics and advertising described above.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights or someone's safety.

7. Links to other sites

We link to official government portals and other third-party websites. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy policy, not ours. Please read theirs before entering personal details — particularly on an application portal, where you will be asked for documents and payment.

8. Children

This site is written for candidates applying to recruitment and admission processes, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and contact-form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We restrict access to submitted messages to the people who answer them. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please do not send us sensitive documents such as Aadhaar numbers, bank details or certificates. We never ask for them.

10. Your choices

• Ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@rojgarsuchna.in. We will respond within 30 days.
• Refuse cookies through your browser settings, as described in our Cookies Policy.
• Turn off personalised ads using the Google and aboutads.info links above.
• Simply read without contacting us — no page on this site requires an account or any personal detail.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will always show the current version. Material changes will be noted on the homepage. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
