The High Court of Delhi, Examination Branch (Non-Judicial), has notified the revised Stage-II: Mains (Descriptive) Examination date for Junior Judicial Assistant / Restorer (Open) Examination-2026 on delhihighcourt.nic.in. Notice 83/Exams-NJ/DHC is dated 8 September 2026. The paper will be held on 4 October 2026 (Sunday) in Delhi-NCR. This replaces the 24 May 2026 date that was cancelled on 15 May 2026. Stage-II paper (what you will write)

English descriptive paper, 100 marks, 120 minutes:

  • Part A: Essay (250 words, 40 marks) and Letter (10 marks)

  • Part B: Grammar (30 marks) and Translation (25 words, 20 marks)

Minimum: General 50/100; reserved categories including PwBD 45/100. About six times the advertised vacancies in each category go forward to the English Typing Test.
