Scholarship 2026 talk often bunches four large CSR programmes: the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27, the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026-27, the HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS Programme 2026-27 and the Reliance Foundation Scholarship 2026-27. Help of up to ₹15 lakh applies only to the SBI Asha overseas category — it is not a flat grant for every applicant. Class 1 through PG each have their own portal, income cap and deadline. Ignore agents who ask for OTP or a form fee.

*Selection and the final amount sit with each foundation. ₹15 lakh is the SBI overseas ceiling, not the typical school or UG award.

What ₹15 lakh help actually means

Headlines add the four brands and write help up to ₹15 lakh. Officially that figure is the SBI Asha overseas annual maximum. A school applicant may see about ₹15,000; a general UG about ₹75,000; an IIM scholar up to ₹5 lakh. Kotak tops out at ₹1.5 lakh a year, HDFC at ₹75,000, Reliance UG at ₹2 lakh over the degree.

Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27

• Girl student in India; at least 75% or equivalent CGPA in Class 12.

• Annual family income under ₹6 lakh.

• First-year professional graduation in 2026-27 — Engineering, MBBS, 5-year Integrated LLB, Integrated BS-MS at IISER/IISc Bangalore, Design, Architecture, NIRF/NAAC institutes.

• Children of Kotak, KEF or Buddy4Study staff cannot apply.

Selected scholars can get ₹1.5 lakh a year* until the degree ends. Selection: merit and need, then two interview rounds. Renewal is KEF call. Money goes to the scholar (or a parent if she is a minor).

SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026-27

Apply at sbiashascholarship.co.in. Help: ashascholarship@sbifoundation.co.in. Awards from ₹15,000 to ₹15,00,000 a year. Many notices put the window at 22 July 2026 to 4 September 2026 — if the form is shut, use the portal status page.

Academic cut is often 75% (relaxations for SC/ST and PwD on the portal). Minors need parent OTP. Pay-out is DBT. No application fee.

HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS 2026-27

Class 1 to PG, at least 55% in the last exam, family income up to ₹2.5 lakh. Preference for a personal or family crisis. Form: Buddy4Study ECSS.

A first window was widely listed as 31 August 2026; later rounds may still show on the portal.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship 2026-27

Site: scholarships.reliancefoundation.org. Apply: scholarshipportal.reliancefoundation.org. Official UG FAQ: submit by 5 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST. Opening listed as 15 August 2026. About 5,000 UG and about 100 PG awards.

UG: Resident Indian; at least 60% in Class 12; first year of a regular full-time degree in 2026-27; household income up to ₹15 lakh (preference under ₹2.5 lakh); mandatory aptitude test. Not eligible: second year or later, distance mode, diploma after Class 10. Award up to ₹2 lakh* over the degree.

PG: First-year students in listed fields such as AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Renewable Energy and Life Sciences; up to ₹6 lakh* over the course.

1. Open that scheme site — there is no single form for all four.

2. Register with a personal email (Reliance asks you to avoid institutional mail).

3. Enter data as on the papers, upload scans, Preview, then Submit.

4. Sit the Reliance aptitude test on time. Save the application number.

Official forms are free. Do not pay for OTP or a wallet grant. You may apply to more than one programme; stacking two awards depends on each T&C. Re-open the official page before you treat a Scholarship 2026 date as final.
