Age and qualification
Age is reckoned on 1 September 2026. The minimum is 23 years and the maximum is 30 years. The candidate must have been born not earlier than 2 September 1996 and not later than 1 September 2003, both dates inclusive.
The advertisement lists four Master's routes. A Master's in Hindi with English as a major or elective subject at graduation. Or a Master's in English with Hindi as a major or elective subject at graduation. Pay, bond and the online test
Grade E basic pay is Rs 44,900. The advertisement puts approximate monthly emoluments at the start of the scale, including DA, HRA and TA, at Rs 91,070, and approximate annual CTC at Rs 17.39 lakh, as on September 2026. Probation is one year from the date of joining. At joining, the selected Hindi Officer signs a service bond of Rs 2 lakh and is to serve IBPS for at least three years, or pay Rs 2 lakh.
