Eligibility and remuneration
The applicant needs an MBBS degree, at a minimum, from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India, in the allopathic system. A postgraduate degree in General Medicine is also accepted. The notice asks for at least two years of practice in a hospital or a clinic. The applicant's dispensary or place of residence must lie within 3 to 5 km of the Bank dispensary at the address above.
The EWS reservation follows Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31 January 2019. The Income and Asset Certificate is the Annex-IV format, for the financial year 2025-26 and valid for 2026-27. An EWS applicant who does not hold that certificate by 5:00 pm on 22 October 2026 is not eligible for this process.

The notice says the rate is fixed for the contract and is all inclusive, counted on the duty hours actually worked. Out of the monthly remuneration, Rs 1,000 a month may be treated as conveyance expenses. Mobile charges are reimbursed at Rs 1,000 a month, on a pro rata basis. The Bank may change the rate, the duty hours and the location.
Itanagar will select one consultant by interview. The Bank may raise the minimum eligibility in order to limit the number called. Shortlisted applicants take the prescribed medical tests before engagement, and the applicant bears that cost. Engagement follows medical fitness, and acceptance of Annex-I and the code of conduct in Annex-II. The selected person signs an agreement with the Bank before engagement.
