UPTET Certificate 2026 Out: Download from UPESSC

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has released the UPTET Certificate 2026 on upessc.up.gov.in. The certificate vigyapti is dated 7 September 2026. How to check UPTET Result 2026

1. Open the official login: upessc.net / upessctetresults.

2. Enter the registration number or roll number and the password or date of birth as shown on that page, plus the captcha.

3. Submit and save or print the scorecard. Note Paper I / Paper II marks separately if you appeared in both.

4. Read the 26 August vigyapti on upessc.up.gov.in if the portal is slow.

As of this writing the result login page shows Result Portal is Currently Closed and asks candidates to wait for the department schedule (query mail: support@upessc.gov.in). Use the certificate site after the 7 September vigyapti if you already qualified.

How to download the UPTET 2026 certificate

1. Read the Commission’s certificate vigyapti dated 07 September 2026.

2. Open certificates.upessc.org.

3. Log in with the credentials the portal asks for (the same registration / roll details used for the exam).

4. Download the electronic certificate. The booklet says distribution is through electronic means (DigiLocker). Keep a copy for future assistant teacher recruitments.

The booklet (para 12) states that the UPTET certificate is valid for a lifetime from the date of result, for all categories, as per Uttar Pradesh Government letter dated 16 June 2021. Photo, category and special reservation on the certificate will not be edited later — the data you filled at apply time is used.

Qualifying marks (information booklet, para 10)

Passing UPTET does not confer a right to appointment. It is only one of the eligibility conditions for later recruitments. The booklet also says OMR evaluation is computerised; wrong bubbling of booklet number, registration number or Paper-IV subject choice can leave a paper unevaluated, and no representation is entertained.

Exam pattern (from the booklet)

Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking. The medium is Hindi and English except language papers. Paper I sections (30 marks each): Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English / Urdu / Sanskrit), Mathematics, Environmental Studies. Paper II: the first three sections are 30 marks each; the fourth section is 60 marks (Maths/Science or Social Studies, as chosen).

Both papers could be chosen in one online form after One Time Registration (OTR) if the candidate held the required qualification for each level.
