What the centre checks
Every candidate reaches the centre at least two hours before the paper, so that frisking can be done. The main gate closes 30 minutes before the start. Paper-I begins at 10:00 am, so the gate closes at 9:30 am. Paper-II begins at 2:00 pm, so the gate closes at 1:30 pm. The centre collects one printed copy of every page of the CGSSB admit card. The candidate prints every page on one side only.
The photo identity proof has to be original, and it has to carry a photograph of the candidate: voter identity card, driving licence, PAN card, or Aadhaar card. A photocopy is not accepted. Without the original identity proof, entry is refused. Leaving the room is not allowed in the first half hour or the last half hour.
The dress is half-sleeve. Black, dark blue, dark green, dark red, purple, maroon, violet, and dark chocolate clothes are not allowed. Footwear is a slipper. No jewellery in the ear. Communication devices, other electronic devices, an electronic watch, a purse, a pouch, a scarf, and a belt are not allowed in the room.
