The notice title is “Uploading of Tentative Answer Key(s) along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s)”. The file is writeup_21092026.pdf. The advertisement itself (para 11.5) already said the tentative keys would follow the computer-based test, and that representations go only through the online module. A letter, an application, or an email is not a representation. The challenge rules are the Commission’s guidelines dated 10.04.2026.

Save the response sheet before 24.09.2026, 23:00. After that hour the link closes. A later request for the sheet or the tentative key is not entertained. The saved paper is for the candidate’s own use.

Paper-I scheme

Paper-I is objective. Each part has a sectional timer.

Part

Questions / marks

Time

Part-I, General Hindi

100 / 100

2 hours (1 hour a part). Scribe-eligible candidates: 2 hours 40 minutes, 1 hour 20 minutes a part

Part-II, General English

100 / 100

A wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. Experts examine the representations before the keys are final. Those final keys process the computer-based result, and they are uploaded after that result. Where the test ran in more than one shift, marks are normalised under the procedure in the Commission’s notice dated 02.06.2025. Paper-II is the descriptive translation and essay paper, 200 marks, for candidates shortlisted from Paper-I. Final merit uses 50 percent of Paper-I and 100 percent of Paper-II.

How to open the key and file a representation

  1. Open ssc.gov.in/login with the registration number and password.

  2. Open Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026, Paper-I.

  3. Download the response sheet and the tentative key. Print them before 24.09.2026, 23:00.

  4. In the challenge module, select the question, give the option you rely on, and attach the evidence. The question and option order in that module is the order for the shift. It is the order used for the challenge, separate from the order a candidate saw on the test screen.

  5. Pay ₹50 for each question you challenge. The fee stays with the Commission.

  6. Keep the acknowledgement.
