The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has placed the Deputy Jailor 2024 outcome on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Advertisement 04/2024-25 covers 73 Deputy Jailor posts in the Jail Department (70 Non-TSP and 3 TSP). Online applications were taken from 8 July 2024 to 6 August 2024. The written examination was held on 13 July 2025. Candidates who cleared that paper appeared for PET/PST from 15 July 2026 at the Prison Training Institute, Ajmer. RPSC publishes result PDFs and press notes on its own domain. A forwarded WhatsApp list or a third-party “score login” is not a result. The Commission does not charge a fee to view the PDF. After the written paper, the Directorate General of Prisons conducted the physical efficiency and physical standard tests. The latest file on the Results page is the one that decides who is provisionally in merit or called for the next departmental step. Read the footnotes on that PDF for category, TSP/Non-TSP and any withheld roll numbers.

Open rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/results, choose exam name DEPUTY JAILOR – 2024, and download the current result or cut-off notice. Keep the written-exam and PET admit cards until appointment work ends.

Important dates

Eligibility (for record — apply window is closed)

Age was counted on 1 January 2025: minimum 18 years, maximum 26 years, with the relaxations printed in Advt. 04/2024-25. Essential qualification is a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and knowledge of Rajasthani culture, as stated in the notification. Physical standards and the PET scheme were issued later through RPSC press notes and the Prisons Directorate. Those rules apply only to candidates who were called for the physical stage.

Application fee (then)

From 19 April 2023 Rajasthan charges a one-time examination fee across RPSC exams, as explained in the advertisement. Fee already paid is not refunded.

Selection process

Final appointment follows the Commission’s merit rules, category reservation and the Jail Department’s medical and character verification. A name on an earlier written-result PDF does not mean selection if PET/PST or documents fail.

How to check the result

1. Open rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

2. Go to Results and select DEPUTY JAILOR – 2024 (or open the latest press note on the home page).

3. Download the official PDF. Use Find (Ctrl+F / Cmd+F) for your roll number.

4. Read every note on withheld, revised or TSP/Non-TSP lists. Save the file.

5. Watch the same site for interview, document or medical dates. No SMS from RPSC is a substitute for the PDF.

What to do next

If your roll number is in the latest merit or qualifying list, keep original certificates, category papers, Rajasthan domicile (if claimed) and PET/PST documents ready. If your number is missing, wait for a cut-off or marks notice on the same Results page. Do not pay anyone who claims to “confirm” a Jail Department posting.
