The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has opened online applications on www.tgprb.in for 7,112 Stipendiary Cadet Trainee posts under Rc No. 189 / Rect. / Rect.2 / 2026 dated 29 July 2026. The drive covers Police Constable (Civil / AR / SAR CPL), SPF Constable, Fire Fighter and Prison Warder. Qualification is Intermediate or equivalent as on the notification date. Apply from 8:00 am on 19 August 2026 to 5:00 pm on 9 September 2026. Preliminary exam dates are not in this notice. The 57-page English notice is for direct recruitment only through the TSLPRB portal. A 1 August 2026 press note fixed the apply window. A 15 August 2026 press note (GO Ms No. 122 dated 14-08-2026) adds two more years on the upper age already raised by five years in GO Ms No. 87 dated 18-05-2026. Vacancies are tentative. Four 29 July notifications share one registration; do not file more than one Part I form.

Missing any test disqualifies you. PMT/PET is held once for all TSLPRB notifications you applied to in three months. No postponement of PET. Hall ticket is not a final clearance of eligibility.

PWT syllabus (Annexure II): English, Arithmetic, General Science, Indian history / culture / national movement, Geography–Polity–Economy, current events, reasoning / mental ability, Telangana content. FWE (Annexure III) adds a personality block (ethics, gender and weaker-section sensitivity, social awareness, emotional intelligence). English-language items stay in English even on Telugu/Urdu papers. Blue or black ball-point pen on OMR only.
How to apply
Install the Aadhaar app for face authentication before you start Part I.
On www.tgprb.in register with your personal mobile number as User ID. Keep that number live till the process ends.
Select this notification and any other 29 July 2026 TSLPRB posts you are eligible for. Check the fee before you pay.
Pay by credit card, debit card, net banking or any mode shown on the site.
Fill Part I. Upload one JPG (30–100 KB) that has your passport photo and specimen signature together. Photo without signature is rejected.
Press Submit. If you pay but do not submit, the form is rejected and the fee is not refunded.
Print the submitted form. After PWT, return to the site for Part II and certificate scans.
One registration covers Notifications 189 / Rect.2, 225 / Rect.1, 234 and 279 / Rect.3 of 29-07-2026. Offline applications are rejected. Preference for codes 21, 22, 25 and 26 (men and women), 23 and 27 (men) and 28 (women) is locked in Part II.

The fee covers Part I, PWT, PMT/PET, FWE, biometrics, portal and result processing. If you also apply in another common-procedure regimen (SI group, ASI FPB, PC Driver, PC Mechanic), a rebate of ₹50 (local SC/ST) or ₹100 (others) applies per extra regimen because PET is common. Fee is not refunded.
Pay
All seven posts in this notice carry the scale ₹24,280–72,850. Recruits join as Stipendiary Cadet Trainees. Confirm training stipend and confirmation rules in departmental orders, not only this advertisement.
