Merit uses Paper-I + Paper-II (plus NCC bonus as in the notice). Ties: Paper-II total, then English in Paper-II, then older DoB, then name A–Z.

Exam pattern

Paper-I (objective): four parts — Reasoning, GK/GA, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension — 25 questions / 25 marks each (100 / 100), 1 hour with a 15-minute sectional timer per part. Hindi and English for Parts I–III. Negative marking −0.25.

Paper-II (objective): four parts — Reasoning, GK/GA, Quantitative Aptitude, English — 20 questions / 40 marks each, 1 hour with a 20-minute sectional timer. Negative marking −0.50. Confirm every cell on the official PDF if SSC issues a corrigendum.

Multi-shift scores are normalised (SSC notice 02.06.2025). Answer-key challenge: ₹50 per question, non-refundable.

PET (qualifying)

Male: 100 m in 16 s; 1.6 km in 6.5 min; long jump 3.65 m; high jump 1.2 m; shot put 16 lb 4.5 m (3 chances where printed). Female: 100 m in 18 s; 800 m in 4 min; long jump 2.7 m; high jump 0.9 m. Height/chest relaxations are category-wise in Para 12.10 — read the PDF before you travel for PST.

How to apply

  1. Complete One-Time Registration on ssc.gov.in (old ssc.nic.in OTR does not work).

  2. Prefer Aadhaar-based authentication as explained in the notice.

  3. Open the CPO 2026 form on the website or the mySSC app. Capture the live photo (no cap, mask or spectacles).

  4. Pay ₹100 if you are not exempt. Check Payment Status; incomplete fee = rejected.

  5. Use the 08–10 October window only if you must correct the form.
