The Government of India, Ministry of Defence, has advertised nine Group C General Central Service posts — technical and non-technical, non-gazetted, non-ministerial — at the Ship Building Centre, Visakhapatnam (MoD R&D) under Advertisement 3201/2026. Eligibility from the PDF
CA A: 10th pass plus ITI or NAC in Fitter and two years’ experience. CH: 10th plus ITI Electrician. FED: valid Heavy Motor Vehicle licence, knowledge of motor mechanism, three years’ HMV driving, 10th pass, and physical fitness for strenuous fire-engine work. CMTD: valid car / LMV licence, mechanism knowledge, three years’ car driving, 10th pass; a heavy-vehicle licence is desirable, not treated here as mandatory. Age 18–27 on closing date with the relaxations named above only. Pay is the 7th CPC level in the table; this article does not invent a monthly in-hand figure.
