Eligibility and pay
The applicant must be a bona fide resident of Rajasthan. The advertisement prescribes no educational qualification. It asks for one year of sanitation work in any urban local body of the state. That year may be continuous or in parts. The experience certificate is in the department's format, on lsg.urban.rajasthan.gov.in. It must be issued after 01.08.2026 and before the last date of application. A certificate issued before 01.08.2026 is not accepted. A directly engaged worker's certificate is signed by the Chief Municipal Officer or an authorised officer. A contractor-engaged worker's certificate is countersigned after verification: by the Chief Municipal Officer in a municipality or council, and in a municipal corporation by the Deputy Commissioner (Personnel) or an officer not below that rank authorised by the Commissioner.
On 01.01.2027 the applicant must have completed 21 years and must not have completed 40 years. The honorarium is Rs 7,410 a month, under the Labour Department notification of 13 December 2024. The same pay, eligibility and experience rules apply in scheduled areas. Selection is an online lottery on software of the Information Technology and Communication Department, equal to the advertised posts of that body. First come applicants with one year of sanitation experience in the same body. If posts remain, the lottery takes applicants with one year in another body of the same district. If posts still remain, it takes applicants with one year in any urban local body of the state. The applicant keeps a print of the submitted form. An application number that is not generated means the form is not submitted.
