PHHC Frash Notification 2026: Apply Online for 31 Posts

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has invited online applications on highcourtchd.gov.in for 31 Frash posts on its establishment. The drive is Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026 dated 28 August 2026. Candidates who know Hindi and the regional language, and who are 18 to 35 years on 18 September 2026, can apply from 28 August 2026 to 18 September 2026, 11:59 p.m. Selection is by a 50-mark interview, then a qualifying Physical Endurance Test. The notice fills Frash posts at the High Court, Chandigarh. Pay follows the latest Punjab Government rules adopted by the High Court. Duty hours can go beyond the usual shift and into odd hours. Vacancy numbers can rise or fall when the merit list is prepared; the High Court decides how many names to recommend. Apply only through the High Court website. Category-wise vacancy

SC / ST / BC reservation and the lower fee apply only if the certificate is issued by Punjab, Haryana or U.T. Chandigarh and the candidate is a domicile / permanent resident of that State or U.T. SC / ST / BC candidates from other States or areas are treated as General. Ex-Servicemen reservation is for Ex-Servicemen themselves, not their dependents.

Only Frash on the High Court establishment. One candidate may send only one application for a particular category. If more than one form is submitted, the latest form is kept.

Age

Age and other eligibility must be complete on the last date of online application, 18 September 2026. Date of birth proof: Matriculation certificate of a recognised board if the candidate is matriculate or above; otherwise a birth certificate from the Registrar of Births and Deaths. No other DOB document is accepted.

Qualification

The notice does not set a 10th or 12th pass mark. Essential requirement: knowledge of Hindi and regional language. If you hold any qualification certificates, keep them for testimonials checking. Photograph and signature must be uploaded correctly or the form is rejected.

Selection process

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call. The High Court may shortlist at any stage and may change terms, including selection criteria. No TA/DA for interview or document check. No mobile, watch, jewellery or extra bag at the interview or PET venue.

Exam pattern / PET standards

There is no written prelims or mains in this notice. The interview is the scoring stage. PET is only qualifying. Fail any one event and you are out of the remaining events.

How to apply

1. Read the detailed notice on highcourtchd.gov.in.

2. Keep ready: personal details, active email and mobile, net-banking or card, a recent passport photograph (not more than 30 days old, white background) and a scanned signature.

3. Open the official Frash form (linked from the High Court site / application page).

4. Fill category and other particulars carefully. After submit, nothing can be changed.

5. Pay the fee online. Transaction charges are extra. Fee once paid is not refunded.

6. Print and keep the submitted form. Produce it when the High Court asks.

Incomplete forms are rejected. Do not wait for the last evening — the cut-off is final. Government / semi-government / PSU / board staff must obtain NOC (Annexure II) and produce the original at testimonials checking. Contract or ad-hoc staff apply as non-departmental candidates. BC candidates need a latest certificate and the creamy-layer declaration (Annexure I). Close-relative and previous-employment affidavits (Annexures III and IV) are required at checking.

Online transaction charges are extra. Fee is non-refundable.

Salary

Pay and allowances follow the latest Punjab Government rules and instructions adopted by the High Court for its employees. The notice does not print a fixed matrix figure.
