Eligibility
Only Indian nationals may apply. Qualifications must be from a university or institution recognised in India. General category needs at least 60 percent marks. SC, ST and PwBD candidates with passing marks in the qualifying degree are eligible. Age, experience and qualification are counted as on the last date of the online application. Maximum age is 32 years. Where a vacancy is identified for the category, the upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST, by 3 years for OBC, and by 10 years for PwBD. Ex-servicemen relaxation follows Government guidelines. The category chosen in the form cannot be changed later.

Selected candidates join the initial basic pay of the E1 scale, ₹40,000-1,40,000 (IDA), with dearness allowance and other allowances under company rules. General category candidates execute a service agreement bond of ₹5,00,000. SC, ST and PwBD candidates execute a bond of ₹2,50,000. The bond is to serve NSPCL for at least 4 years after joining. A medical examination at an NSPCL-notified hospital is required before joining. No relaxation in health standards is allowed. The company does not pay TA or DA for the all-India online test. The admit card is downloaded from the website. It is not sent by post.
