Advt 25/2026 is a four-stage online process: (i) registration with a mobile number and URN, (ii) filling particulars, (iii) fee, and (iv) print–sign–upload of the application. If the signed scan is not uploaded, the form is incomplete and the candidature is rejected. After final submit, no field (including category) can be changed. Aadhaar / VID is required for biometric attendance.

Essential qualification (any one stream as printed): Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate from a recognised university/institution in Food Technology (including Food Engineering, Food Processing, Food Biotechnology, Food Safety and Quality Management, Process and Food Engineering, and the other listed titles), or Dairy Technology / Biotechnology / Oil Technology, or Agricultural Science titles listed in the Advt (Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetic, Horticulture), or Veterinary Sciences / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Chemistry / Medicine, or MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BUMS / BSMS / BAMS / Bachelor of Sowa Rigpa, or an equivalent qualification notified by the Food Authority with Central Government approval.

Plus: Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matric, or Hindi in higher education. Training specified by the Food Authority is given after appointment; only those who complete it are notified as Food Safety Officer. No person with a financial interest in manufacture, import or sale of any article of food may be appointed (FSS Rules, 2011). Certificates issued after the closing date are not accepted. Marks improved after 19.10.2026 are ignored.

Selection process

OMR Screening: name, roll and booklet series must be bubbled correctly — no manual checking. SKT answer sheets are not re-evaluated. Pattern announced later is final.

1. Open hpsc.gov.in and register with a valid mobile number.

2. Note the URN / login and apply against Advt 25/2026.

3. Fill particulars, upload documents, pay the fee online (Net Banking / Debit / Credit) by 19.10.2026, 05:00 PM.

4. Print the form, check every field, sign it, scan and upload the signed copy.

5. Keep Application Number for all future correspondence. Download e-Admit Card later from hpsc.gov.in.

Application fee

Fee once paid is not refunded and cannot be reserved for another exam. Unpaid applications (unless fee is remitted) are rejected.

Age relaxation (summary)

Upper age 42 years on 19.10.2026. Haryana SC / BC: +5 years. PwBD, specified women categories, unmarried women: +5 years (PwBD of SC/ST/BC/EWS may get a further +5, cap 52 years on Group-A/B open competitive posts). Ex-servicemen: military service + 3 years (six months continuous service; release not for misconduct). Ad-hoc / contract / work-charged / daily-wage Haryana Government service: years on equivalent post, cap 52 years. Combined relaxations (except ESM) do not take anyone beyond 52 years. DSC/OSC/BC/ESM age relaxation applies only where the post is reserved.
