Eligibility
RCCC from the Assam Survey and Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40, with an official DLRS result in both Survey and Settlement, before notification LA&A/429557/158 dated 13.08.2026.
Computer typing: at least 30 WPM in English and 15 WPM in Assamese or Bengali.
Age 21 to 40 years as on 01.01.2026. Reserved-category relaxation follows Government OM ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02.09.2020.
Age is taken from the Class X or Class XII admit card, pass certificate, or marksheet that prints the date of birth.
Serving Central or State government staff apply through proper channel and produce a no-objection certificate at document verification.
Selection and pattern
The test is 100 marks. Paper-I is a written objective paper of 80 marks: Mathematics (Class X) 10, Conventional Survey 50, Modern Survey 20. Each wrong answer deducts 0.25 mark. Paper-II is a practical computer skill test of 20 marks, covering English and Assamese or Bengali typing.

Candidates who clear the written minimum, in the ratio the Selection Board fixes, are called for the skill test.
