The Bihar Staff Selection Commission’s live Notice Board (checked 9 September 2026) has no Prelims or Mains date and no exam calendar for the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination under revised advertisement 02/23 (A). Advertisement 02/23 was recast as 02/23 (A) after extra departmental requisitions. The detailed revised PDF opened a fresh apply window from 15 October 2025. Use 25,311 from memo 766/आ०. Earlier 02/23 (A) and January 2026 files showed lower totals as more requisitions arrived. Do not use third-party figures such as 26,426 unless BSSC uploads a newer PDF.

Written exam pattern (02/23 (A))

Objective paper. Prelims (when held) is one General Knowledge paper in three parts: General Studies; General Science & Mathematics; Mental Ability. 150 MCQs, +4 / −1, 2 hours 15 minutes, Hindi and English (English text prevails on clash). The notice allows three standard board/NCERT textbooks (one each for GS, Maths, Science) — no guides or notes. Minimum qualifying percentages: UR 40%; BC 36.5%; EBC 34%; SC/ST, women (all categories) and PwD 32%. Mode may be CBT or OMR under the Commission’s later order; biometric / iris capture is mentioned. Tie-break: older candidate, then name A–Z.

1. Open Notice Board and look for Advt 02/23 (A) — exam / city / admit wording, not tenders.

2. Download that PDF. Only that file can name Prelims/Mains day, shift and city.

3. Admit Card links (when issued) will be on the same board or onlinebssc.com. Reporting time is on the card, not on this page.

4. Ignore August/September rumours until they match a bssc.bihar.gov.in PDF.
