APSP Maddipadu Prakasam Recruitment 2026: 37 Outsourcing Posts

Andhra Pradesh Special Police has notified 37 outsourcing posts at the 7th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Maddipadu, Prakasam, under notification 01/2026 dated 31 August 2026, issued with reference to G.O.Ms.No.120, Home (SER-III), dated 26 June 2023. Posts are Record Assistant, Office Subordinate, Sweeper, Sweeper (Medical), Scavenger, Scavenger (Medical), Cook, Dhobi and Barber. Monthly remuneration is ₹15,000. Age is 18–42 years as on 01 July 2026; SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates get five years, subject to a maximum of 47 years. Blank forms are issued from the Commandant’s office from 01 September 2026. Filled forms must reach the same office at Maddipadu / Ongole in person or by post by 11 September 2026. The Commandant, 7th IR Battalion, will collect applications and later call candidates for written, skill or interview stages. Skill-test alerts go by SMS or phone, so a working mobile number on the form is mandatory. Appointment does not create a right to regularisation in AP Police or APSP. Selection lists and any date change will appear through the battalion / district channel named in the PDF, not through private job portals.

Record Assistant (100 marks): Paper-I written 55 marks in 60 minutes on AP SSC standard — Telugu 10, English 10, General Knowledge 15, Mathematics 10, Social Studies 10 — plus computer practical 20 marks in 30 minutes (MS Office) and interview 25 marks.

Office Subordinate (100 marks): Written 75 marks in 90 minutes — Telugu, English, GK, Maths and Social Studies 15 each — plus interview 25 marks.

Cook (100 marks): Telugu read-and-write 15, skill test 60 marks in 90 minutes (breakfast, meal and related tasks as notified), interview 25.

Other Group-IV style posts follow a read-and-write, skill and interview combination printed in the same PDF. Candidates must watch SMS and phone calls for skill-test reporting time. Carry photo, SSC, higher qualifications, caste or EWS certificate, Class IV–X study certificates and Aadhaar as listed in the enclosure paragraph of the notice.

How to apply

Collect the prescribed form from the Commandant, 7th IR Battalion APSP, Maddipadu, from 01 September 2026. Fill it in the candidate’s own hand unless the PDF allows otherwise, paste a photograph, attach self-attested copies, and deliver it at the Commandant’s office or send it by post so that it arrives by 11 September 2026.
