AIIMS Mangalagiri INHIBIT Recruitment 2026: 5 Posts, Email by 15 September

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri (Guntur, Andhra Pradesh) has advertised five contractual posts under the ICMR-funded INHIBIT Study through reference AIIMS/MG/MICRO/RECRUITMENT/ICMR/INHIBIT/2026/01 dated 01 September 2026. The Department of Clinical Microbiology and Integrated Stewardship Laboratory needs Project Research Scientist–I (Non-Medical) 1, Project Technical Support–II 3 and Project Nurse–III 1. Email the prescribed Annexure-I form and Annexure-II papers to inhibitstudy.aiimsmg@gmail.com by 15 September 2026, 5:00 PM. INHIBIT is an ICMR intermediate extramural grant. Appointment does not create a right to regular service in AIIMS, ICMR or DHR. Cumulative project tenure cannot exceed five years across projects as per the February 2026 ICMR memorandum cited in the notice. A 5% increment after every two years is subject to performance review. Age relaxation follows GoI/ICMR orders; up to five years may be considered for deserving candidates with government research-organisation experience under the 18.10.2024 ICMR guideline.

Duties and selection from the PDF

PRS-I handles isolate identification, AST, broth microdilution MIC, strain stocks, QC and inventory. PTS-II prepares MIC strips, media and antibiotic stocks, preserves strains and supports participating centres. Project Nurse–III collects clinical data, outcome measures, DOT/DDD audits and stewardship documentation. English, Telugu and Hindi are desirable for the nurse post. Depending on applicant numbers, a written and/or skill test may precede interview. No TA/DA. Sunday or holiday laboratory duty may be required after induction. Stay ready for an extra day if the board overruns; lodging is at the candidate’s cost.
