SSC posted the CGL 2026 Tier-I window — CBT from 30.09.2026 to 30.10.2026. About 12,256 vacancies. Confirm on ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission has published a Tier-I schedule for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 on ssc.gov.in. The computer-based Tier-I window is 30 September 2026 to 30 October 2026 (confirm the notice-board PDF before you book travel). The detailed notice (F. No. HQ-C11018/1/2026-C-1) listed about 12,256 tentative Group B/C vacancies. Applications ran 21.05.2026–22.06.2026 and were reopened to 25.06.2026, 23:00. Tier-II remains December 2026 as in that notice. This page uses only SSC URLs.

The original notice had called Tier-I “August–September 2026” (tentative). The later schedule notice replaces that window with the September–October dates. Shift timings are not a single all-India clock — they appear on your admit card.

Sections are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension, 60 minutes (scribe extra as printed). Merit for final selection is from Tier-II only after you qualify Tier-I cut-offs.

How to see your date and shift

  1. Open ssc.gov.in notice board and download the latest CGL 2026 schedule / city / admit notice.

  2. Log in with registration number and password on the regional SSC link named in that notice.

  3. Print the admit card. Check photo, category, scribe and reporting time.

  4. Carry the photo ID listed on the card. No third-party “shift predictor” sites.

Fee in the notice is ₹100 for many male UR/OBC/EWS applicants; women, SC, ST and eligible PwBD are exempt as printed. Recheck ssc.gov.in if any date moves.
