Who could sit the mains

• Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a PET-2025 score card could apply. Absolute PET score zero or negative was not eligible.

• If the PET result was still under investigation / provisional, the advertisement still allowed an application; the Commission said it would check the final PET status later.

• Applications were online only through upsssc.gov.in. Education and trade rules (Class 10 plus ITI / tubewell mechanic certificate as in the PDF) are post-specific — read the advertisement before you quote them.

4. Keep your admit card and the 14 July provisional notice for comparison. The September file is the Commission’s settled key after objections — further challenge is not invited in that letter.

5. Score only against the master set, not against unofficial keys or third-party Drive files.

Selection after the key

Typical UPSSSC flow for this drive is PET-2025 → mains written paper → eligibility / document verification as later notified. The 12 September letter does not publish marks, cut-offs or a roll list. When the result is out it will appear under Results on the same website.
