IIT Madras (GATE-JAM Office) is conducting GATE 2027 Admission registration on the official site gate2027.iitm.ac.in. The GOAPS portal opened on 2 September 2026. Regular registration (no late fee) closes on 27 September 2026; extended registration with late fee closes on 5 October 2026. GATE 2027 has 30 test papers. Scores stay valid for three years and are used for PG/PhD admission and by several PSUs. Apply only on the IIT Madras portal — dates on the official Important Dates page can change.

Open GOAPS from the GATE 2027 home page, complete registration, fill the form, upload documents listed in the Information Brochure, and pay the fee. City allotment / admit-card window is shown as 4 January 2027. The written test runs over three weekends in February 2027; results are listed as 19 March 2027.
